My name is Jana Baldwin and I am the founder of this organization.  For years, my husband Taft and I have dreamt of being able to help young people in our community.  We wished to serve those that are often overlooked or given up on.  We dreamed of finding a way to instill hope in their lives.  All things creative have always had such a huge impact on us.  The songs we listen to, dance, and many art expressions have the potential to uplift and encourage.  After serving in many different capacities in our communities, we have finally been able to launch what has been in our hearts for over 10 years. We are so happy to begin this very tangible way of bringing resources and hope to the kids around us.

Nstill is a non-profit organization (IRC Section 501(c)(3) status approved!) created to provide a safe space, for youth grades 6-12, to explore and develop their creative gifts and talents.  We plan to do that by raising funds for scholarships and opening a youth center for creative arts.  The youth center will have a wide variety of creative art options available for little or no cost to our students.  We plan to offer but are not limited to, many varieties of dance, vocal training, music recording, and the opportunity to perform in live shows created to inspire our community. We hope to encourage and equip all who come through the doors. Our heart is to help those who otherwise would not have an opportunity to invest in these types of programs.

While we are fundraising to open our own location, our plan is to continue to get to know those around us by partnering with local schools and other organizations that support the kids in our area.  We plan to provide scholarships in the near future for kids to be able to take lessons in places already established.
